Garden of Claude Monet
Le Clos Normand has a garden of one hectare consisting of an apple orchard and a vegetable garden with a floor covered with thousands of flowers.
In 1893, Claude Monet bought this land separated from the Clos Normand by the small railway line and the King's Road. This allowed him to dig his "water garden" in which he built in 1895 the Japanese bridge with elegant lines, now fully restored. This site is classified "Remarkable Garden".
The pink stucco house, where lived from 1883 to 1926 the leader of the Impressionist school, offers a colorful décor and intimate charm of yesteryear.
